# HVAClean (Tier Environmental)

Published per-opening pricing and a budget Lite package

HVAClean is a division of TIER, Inc., founded by Greg Lewis whose industry roots go back to 1975 and a Sears Carpet Cleaning franchise from 1987 to 1999. The TIER divisions, including HVAClean and Crawlspace Makeovers, were created in 2003. They are one of the few companies in Nashville publishing per-unit rates: $200 per air handler, $12 per supply or return opening, $17 for ceiling supplies, or roughly $0.30 per square foot when opening counts are unknown. Notably, they state openly that the cheaper HVAClean Lite package does not conform to NADCA standards, which is an unusually honest disclosure.
